The purpose of teaching is to develop students' knowledge and skills in the fields of standardization activities, metrology and certification to ensure the effective occupation.

As a result of passing the test, students must:

have an understanding of the current state, problems and ways of improving standardization, metrology and certification;

have the skills to:

- Work with the normative documents on standardization, metrology and certification, with the fund of national standards;

- The choice of product certification schemes (services), production quality system;

- Development of normative documents projects;

- Ensure the reliability and the required accuracy of measurements, control, analysis;

- Taking into account the legal requirements for metrology, standardization and conformity assessment in practice.
