If you approach an intersection as a cyclist with the SiBike app, the traffic light automatically switches to green within a few seconds or extends the existing green phase. YuBike takes advantage of satellite navigation technology. Your smartphone determines the position using GPS and checks whether you have passed a virtual trigger point at the right speed. In this case, the app reports the activation of the trigger point to the traffic center. The traffic control center then issues a command to the traffic light controller and ensures that you get the green light.
