The Amateur Volleyball Association Bari was born in June 2017 with the aim of being the new benchmark for men's volleyball in the regional capital.
In the debut season, 2017-2018, the association chaired by Antonio Laforgia participates in the national championship of series B, finishing in fourth place in group G.
The following season, 2018-2019, sees the Pallavolo Bari, called M2G Group Bari in compliance with the main sponsor M2G Group, again participates in the league of B inserted in group E, including formations of Umbria, Marche and Abruzzo. The red and white finish the season in second place, competing in the promotion playoffs.
