Waistline is a calorie counter and weight tracker that allows you to keep a diary of the food you eat and track variations in your weight.
All data is kept on your device, it's never shared with a server or uploaded to the "cloud" (unless you want to upload data to Open Food Facts) but it can be exported or imported easily when needed.
The app includes a barcode scanner that connects to the Open Food Facts database to pull in product information.
Best of all this app respects your freedom, data, and privacy. It is entirely free/libre and open source. The source code is available on GitHub - https://github.com/davidhealey/waistline

Was hoping for a free alternative to work, but the database does not even have eggs in them

So far I'm loving this however, in the diary, the nutrients are cut off on the bottom of my Pixel 9 Pro XL. Not the end of the world for me since it fits perfectly on my spare Pixel 3a.
