Garbage has become an integral part of our lives. Unfortunately, in many cases it is not disposed of professionally and ends up on or next to roads, walkways and paths. Carelessly discarded garbage not only affects traffic, but also has to be collected laboriously by hand.
Artificial intelligence has experienced a rapid upswing in recent years. The neural network "YOLOv4" has shown that optical image recognition by means of AI is technically feasible. In order to train a system for garbage detection, a large number of sample images is required. In order to collect as many sample image as possible and to train our algorithm, this app was developed.
