The AT&T Secure Family® App ($7.99/mo.) helps parents locate their family member’s devices and manage their children’s screen time, as well as the content they may access online.
AT&T Secure Family Companion App
AT&T Secure Family is designed to work with AT&T Secure Family Companion, a free app in the Google Play Store. Install it on your child’s device and pair it with your device. Pairing is required to access all the features of Secure Family.

General:
Only authorized app users have permission to locate a family member’s device.
Devices running Secure Family or Secure Family Companion require Android v.11 or higher.
Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can reduce battery life.
There is a compatibility conflict that can prevent the addition of AT&T Secure Family Companion to your child’s device if you have AT&T ActiveArmor Advanced Mobile Security running on the same companion device. If you wish to continue with the purchase, you must either remove AT&T ActiveArmor Advanced Mobile Security from your account or downgrade to AT&T ActiveArmor Mobile Security on the companion device before adding AT&T Secure Family Companion.

AT&T Secure Family uses the Google Accessibility API as an optional component to the parental controls function, and when enabled by the parent, helps to prevent removal of the Secure Family Companion to prevent disablement of parental control functions by the child.
This app uses a VPN required to activate the parental controls features including content filter and block internet on the child’s device running the AT&T Secure Family Companion app.
