This app combines several useful functions in one app. GPS position determination, photo to e-mail or e.g. WhatsApp with GPS coordinates. Furthermore, any URL address can be assigned symbols and descriptive text.
Important information in advance: To ensure that the app works correctly, it is necessary to use the background position function. This is started when the app is started and ensures that the position can be determined as precisely as possible after pressing the scan button. Since the exact position of the scanned code is a basic function of the app, this is absolutely necessary. The GPS coordinates are also used to transmit an e-mail or WhatsApp message if the LTE transmission of the position data is not possible. Sending an e-mail or z. B. WhatsApp message is not automatic. You have to initiate it manually.
The modules in detail:
GPS module: Display of the position of the current location with specification of the tolerance in meters. A traffic light system (green, yellow, red) shows the quality of the coordinates. With the integrated GPS reset function, you can increase the accuracy of the location position.
Scanner function: The scanner function only starts after a key has been pressed. The LED of your smartphone can be switched on for scanning. Advice if GPS quality is not sufficient.
Image to email function: GPS coordinates are added to the image. It can be sent to up to three e-mail addresses stored in the app. Any text can also be added to the e-mail. The e-mail contains the GPS coordinates of the current location and optionally the phone type and the phone number of the sending smartphone. This makes it possible to transmit GPS coordinates to the receiver even if there is no internet connection at the time of recording. (Can be deselected under Settings.)
Location map management: The location map management integrated in the app makes it possible to manage and call up any overview maps of devices, things and objects. Any URL can be provided with an icon or an image from your smartphone directory. The symbol can also be labeled as desired and provided with additional information. In this way, any URL links can be recorded in the app. The URL links can also be scanned. The card management can be used in so many ways. Since the symbols and images can also be recognized by those with no language skills or can be named in the respective language of the user, comprehension problems are minimized.
In the commercial sector, the possible uses are endless. Examples: construction companies, authorities, building yards, road maintenance service, fire brigades ...
The system can also be used to create work instructions. The work to be done by a work team is entered on a card. z. E.g. at this point replace a defective line, carry out an excavation, repair a road damage, repair signs, etc.
