'Odonata - Dragonflies of Italy' is an app created to identify all the dragonflies Italian.
The identification is very simple and allows, on the basis of excluding choices through detailed photos and accompanied by identifying arrows, to arrive to the species of the dragonfly has front (or which is photographed).
Each species of dragonfly has its own tab, where are specified: the scientific name, the Italian common name, the immediate family, size, flight period, accompanied by the distribution map, habitat, altitude, its whether or not in the IUCN lists or Habitats Directive and of course pictures of male and female.
Given the not properly simple field, there is also a section on the morphology of dragonflies, accompanied by explanatory pictures and explanations terminologies, so as to help the user to further identifications.
'Also a reference section with advice regarding any paper books to buy, very useful to be connected to this app.
'Odonata' currently does not address in detail the subspecies but it is mentioned the name and distribution.
