The Inland Waterways Police Regulations (BPR) contains the traffic for the Dutch waterways. The CPD contains signs and other traffic signs, lighting implement, and acoustic signals for vessels, and the priority and avoidance rules in the water.
The BPR is for everyone and for each vessel, both for commercial and recreational vessels (including rowing boats and surfboards).
According to Article 1.11 of the CPD have an updated copy of the valid Inland Waterways Police presence on board a ship. However, a copy which can be accessed is also allowed via an electronic means at any time. This app contains the complete up-to-date text of the Inland Waterways Police, and thus meets the legal requirement.
The app contains the full text of the Inland Waterways Police, the text of the relevant Decree Inland Waterways Police.
A search function supports it easy to consult the BPR.
