What is WeShare?
=============
We wanted to create a solution to give parents the opportunity to have access to a variety of toys and products always new for their children, helping them on the one hand to keep their budget intact for other kinds of experiences on to offer them to their children, and on the other hand to reduce the negative impact that toys represent, as a source of pollution, on the environment. We rely on the involvement, education and empowerment of parents, to whom we offer an application that supports eco-responsibility and that emphasizes the creation of communities.
Toy Lives
==============
We know that a new toy always brings joy to our little ones. But new does not have to mean directly from the store.
We strongly believe that a toy can, and should, have more than one life. Toys that were once loved, but are now forgotten in boxes, can once again find little masters with whom to embark on the most daring imaginary journeys.
We offer you a simple concept:
===========================
- choose with your child those toys that seem to have lost their charm (keep in mind, however, that the toys are not damaged, broken, or in a shape that prevents them from bringing joy to another child)
- take some pictures, add a description, and post them in the application. You can also check the donation option, if you are not necessarily interested in exchange, but simply want the toy to find another home.
- for each toy that passes the moderation you will receive 1 weshare (by moderation we mean a simple check to make sure that the pictures are not indecent things)
- look through the ads of other users and find the toys that you think will interest your little one
- propose an exchange offering instead one of your toys (each initiated exchange will cost you 1 weshare)
- if the other user accepts the exchange, a conversation will be created automatically, allowing you to discuss directly, setting the rest of the details such as the place and time of the exchange
What is our mission?
====================
The data show that a child has an average of over 200 toys, but they play daily with only 10-12 toys. Any toy, no matter how interesting, sooner or later either loses its charm or is no longer true for the age category. This means that millions of toys nationwide only collect dust in various boxes before inevitably reaching the trash. Annually, about 40 million toys are thrown away, contributing massively to the problem of environmental pollution, as the plastic from which the toys are made is non-recyclable. Our mission is to reduce both waste and pollution, toy by toy.
Sustainable economy
==================
The sharing economy is gaining considerable momentum, as more and more people get used to the idea of sharing resources. We have around us models already validated on a global scale by which the sharing of a car or a house begins to become a normality, so why not do the same with toys? Fewer things end up in the landfill and implicitly the environment is less polluted. Join the change!
We are building a community
====================
We want to build strong and responsible communities, and WeShare contributes to this process by helping you build relationships with the people around you. Today we change a toy, tomorrow we change an idea, and as soon as we change a mentality.
