In this message the author (Muhammad ibn Abdul-Wahhab at-Tamimi)
explained the meaning of the term tagut and its main types.
The word tagut in Arabic is derived from the word "tugyan",
which indicates a border crossing. Every thing that
crossed the boundaries set for her in disobedience
called "tagin", i.e. passed over, unlimited.
This meaning includes the words of Allah: “Verily, when the water
"طغي" crossed its borders, We carried you on the ship. "
(Sura al-Hakka 11 Ayat). Those. she rose and crossed the border with
the permission of Allah Almighty.
