Welcome to Ural is an audio guide-guide that can turn trips around the Urals into an exciting journey. At the first stage, it included 10 routes and more than 60 iconic places in the vicinity of the village of Visim, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Russia.
Visim is the pearl of the Urals and the Belaya Mountain tourist cluster, the birthplace of the famous writer Mamin-Sibiryak. Founded 300 years ago, the village stores information about the events that took place in the Urals and in Russia in the 18-19 centuries: the split of the church, the flourishing of the Demidovs' mining and smelting empire, the development of gold mining, the formation of ethnic communities, the civil war, the evacuation of residents of besieged Leningrad.
In order to go on a journey with Welcome to Ural, you need to choose any route from the list, focusing on its description, type, difficulty, length, etc. By pressing the button “Download route” it will be available offline. That is, the application can be used as a mobile travel guide.
When registering in the application and downloading the map, the audio guide will tell you how far the user is from the starting point. The map shows the route line and all the significant places included in it.
