Many women with breast cancer have the need to find information in digital media during their different treatments. The iSYS Foundation detects this need and takes the initiative to develop Xemio, an app to help patients in both the social and self-monitoring aspects: the platform designed for smartphones allows us to help patients and their families in the monitoring of side effects, treatments and facilitating participation in social activities organized by the different associations.
Xemio gives you access to a virtual environment for meeting, debate, support and accompaniment:
SELF-MONITORING
Steps. The app allows you to count your steps by comparing your results with the recommended goals according to your data.
Side effects of treatment. Side effects are measured using individualized intensity scales for each effect. By monitoring the values you enter, the App offers you specific hygienic-dietary advice that can help you minimize the side effect. In no case will this advice replace the medical professional.
DIVULGATION
News. We provide you with news and reliable content so that you are up to date with the news about the disease. You will have the guarantee of the professionalism of our sources together with the proximity and support you need.
SOCIAL AGENDA
Events calendar. We inform you of the many conferences, workshops and other activities that take place around you and we facilitate access. It is scientifically proven that facing the disease accompanied and in community has positive effects on its evolution.
REPORT GENERATION
Monitoring. You can share your reports with your doctor and monitor your progress. This will provide the professional with a more specific and accurate follow-up.
