About Chadvent MPCS
The idea of setting up a cooperative society for this Chapel stems from the report of the Chaplain, Venerable Hope Imoroa to PCC on the Second Session of the 12th Synod of the Diocese of Warri (Anglican Communion), held at Saint Mathias Anglican Church, Eku, where the lord Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Christian Esezi Ide advised all churches to take a cue from the Diocese and set up their own Cooperative societies. He narrated that the Diocesan Cooperative Society has long been set up by the Bishop and was running well. He noted that all the clergymen were already enjoying its dividends and consequently desired that the Chapel should take advantage of the lord Bishop’s advice and set up its own Society whereby members can be empowered financially.
In order to actualize this goal therefore, the PCC of the Chapel at its Meeting of 14th May, 2017 approved the Chaplain’s proposal to set up the Cooperative Society and immediately constituted the Committee to drive the process.
