The purpose of making this application is to facilitate the people of Palembang and surrounding areas to order the tomb of the tomb of Islamic Nurul Qur'an TPU which will be used later on or given to relatives or other parties.
Islamic Cemetery Park (TPU) NURUL QUR'AN is a Muslim Cemetery Park which is one of the business units of the Tahfidz Nurul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Foundation which is engaged in Islamic funeral services. Founded in 2019, the Islamic Public Cemetery (TPU) NURUL QUR'AN was built to serve people who want to be buried according to Islamic law, as well as a means of socialization to the public about Islamic funeral sharia. It covers an area of 3.7 hectares in the Pedu Village area, Jejawi District, Ogan Kemering Ilir Regency (OKI), South Sumatra Province. Islamic NURUL QUR'AN TPU is located about 5 minutes from Jalan Kayu Agung - Palembang Toll Road.
Background The construction of the Islamic Public Cemetery (TPU) NURUL QUR'AN
At present, the Indonesian people in the city of Palembang and its surroundings, with a growing population face the problem of increasingly limited funerals provided by the government and the community. It should be noted that the Palembang City Region with an area of 400.61 km² is projected to require a 125 hectare tomb area.
In the Palembang Spatial Plan (RTRW) of 2019, a target of 125 hectares is targeted.
In fact, the width of the tomb in Palembang is only 75 hectares. So, Palembang clearly still lacks 50 hectares of land.
The high number of Palembang residents who have died, with an average of 65 people per day, means that from 2019 onwards, burial grounds in the city of Palembang will be exhausted if no additions are made immediately. In addition to efforts to increase the area of the tomb, a policy was also carried out to pile the bodies in one grave pit for those who still have family relations. The minimum time interval is two years, this is to anticipate the overload of grave land.
The condition of the existing public cemeteries is very alarming, including:
- Impressed jostling and irregular.
- Poorly maintained.
- Often encountered beggars, hawkers, and others.
- Not having adequate facilities.
- Looks scary and haunted.
Purpose and objectives
The construction of the Islamic TPU NURUL QUR'AN aims to:
- Providing choices for Muslims to be buried in Muslim cemeteries according to Islamic law.
- Providing Muslim burial grounds cared for forever.
- There is an easy procession for the procession of the remains from the beginning until the burial.
- Preserve brotherhood and kinship, with the existence of a grave in a Muslim burial ground that is maintained forever, allowing children and grandchildren to make a pilgrimage.
In connection with the foregoing, the Islamic cemetery of Islamic TPU NURUL QUR'AN which was built since 2019 has the following concepts:
