Adamya Chetana is a voluntary organization working since 1997 in the fields of education with Anna – Akshara – Arogya (Food – Education – Health) as its core intervention areas. Adamya Chetana was started in the year 1997 by Late Shri AnanthKumar, who was Member of Parliament for 6 times from Bengaluru South & Minister in Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee & Shri Narendra Modi cabinet in the fond memory of his mother Smt. Girija Shastry as a tribute to her indomitable spirit. Adamya Chetana serves hot nutritious mid-day meals to more than 1.5 Lakh school children every day. Nitya-annadana is another program run in various points that provides food for the needy. We believe that in Swami Vivekananada's teaching that each soul is potentially divine.
