The regional union of maritime grain producer organizations is a peasant organization. It specializes in the production and joint sale of cereals under contract. In recent years, it has worked to diversify the productions of its members. It seeks to facilitate the marketing of its products in order to increase the volumes marketed and therefore the income of its members. Through the Forests and Farmers Mechanism (FFF), two of its cooperatives received support in 2020 for the processing of tomatoes into tomato puree and soybeans into porridge flour. Once again this year, one of its unions received support from the FFF to produce and market roasted soybeans to poultry farmers. UROPC-M thus begins its diversification phase. To support its group sales mechanism and promote the sale of large volumes, it is offering, with the support of the FFF, a mobile application that will serve as a showcase for its products. This application will allow UROPC-M to display its product offerings and receive customer needs and orders in real time.
