Gibson Electric Membership Corporation is an electric cooperative and Gibson Connect is its broadband cooperative subsidiary. Both are not-for-profit and exist to serve Gibson Electric’s eligible members in northwest Tennessee and western Kentucky. Gibson Electric provides reliable provide reliable, affordable and safe electric service to about 40,000 member-owners. Gibson Connect provides fiber-based, high speed internet, phone and TV service to our eligible members. We can serve broadband to some businesses outside of our electric service area.
