Creating and making has been in Jamie Omahen's life since she was young. After a BFA, graphic design work, sales, marketing and industrial design experience she found herself a stay at home mom. That is when her aunt introduced her to the world of machine embroidery.
Embroidery lead Jamie to other crafting endeavors, which is when she noted the lack of affordable supplies for professional crafters. So in 2009, with the desire to develop a punch to match standard sized dogtags, Jamie and Michael Omahen started PunchPlacePlus to develop quality specialized craft supplies.
Starting in the basement, the business took over more and more of their home. In 2013 they moved the company to a warehouse which is now over 3600+sf in office/warehouse space. The business was rebranded in 2016 to Craft Chameleon to reflect the variety of craft supplies they sell. Each year, with the help of customers and friends, they design & have new craft items manufactured and brought to market.
