BRIEF HISTORY OF CRICKE:

- It is a sport that has its beginnings in the Middle Ages, at that time the children of the communities between Kent and Sussex
(England) played a game similar to cricket.
In the 1550s this game was already practiced in some schools and little by little it spread throughout England.
By the end of the 18th century it was already a national sport and the Midlesex Country Club (MCC) established the rules and supervised the game until 1969.

- I Zingari (The Gypsies) founded by Harrow alumni, was the first sports club to adopt colors
