Jan Kotěra's architectural masterpiece for the third time during one of the November nights will host the multi-genre festival Faculty Night Charged from the floor to the ground with interesting lectures, workshops, discussions and music. And space will even be for yoga, dance or laser game. Even though it might seem to the venue, the event is definitely not intended only for graduates or law students! We welcome all those who want to enjoy an unusual evening and get to know the right in its social context.
The program is dominated by lectures by experts from the entire academic community, who will address topical and sometimes controversial topics. At random, visitors can look forward to the leading lady of the domestic public prosecution Lenka Bradáčová, who will focus on the topic of credibility and media image of justice, including men and women with oilseed during a joint contribution of constitutional lawyer Jan Kysela and psychiatrist Radkin Honzák. Kateřina Šimáčková, the judge of the Constitutional Court, also accepted the invitation, and Vladimír Pelc is talking about the criminal qualification of the famous story of red boxers at the Castle. What makes lawyers happy to tell Zděněk Kučera and about the changes that the Czech justice has undergone after the Velvet Revolution, you can talk with the NSS judge Zdeněk Kühn. And space will also be on truly unusual topics - the question of what the law has in common and superheroes will answer Petr Agha, Jiří Šouša will reveal how one of the oldest crafts, prostitution, has evolved over the centuries, and we will explore the legal nature of influencing with Andrea Pavelcva.
As well as the whole event, it is not only for lawyers, there are also representatives of other scientific fields among the invited guests. Almost half of the lecture program consists of contributions from technicians, geneticists, physicians, sociologists or politicians who point out the overlap of paragraphs into their fields. Ethical and technological issues will be discussed by molecular biologist Jan Černý together with evolutionary biologist and priest Mark Vácha, as the Czech language has changed in official communication over the years will be analyzed by representatives of the Czech team on rights. Ten things that everyone should know about what is happening before our birth will be revealed by Milena Králíčková, we will talk about sports around us and will not miss the current topic of fake news and communication on social networks.
This year's organizers decided to take care of mental health in all respects - in addition to light lectures, it will be possible to measure their strength in PubQvíz, listen to high-quality music or practice yoga in the premises of the famous faculty pool.
The traditional tours are cross, criss-free, unconventional premises of the Faculty of Law in Prague.
An event of such a size that would informally link law to other disciplines while presenting unconventional paragraphs in a society-wide context is unprecedented, so it would be a sin to miss out on what an experienced organizing team has prepared for the program this year. The fact that law is a multidimensional phenomenon has been said and written a great deal, its social outreach and the fact that law is not just dusty books and the laws, however, come to see for yourself on November 13!
