The 3KinoFest International Film Festival, founded in 2013, is a regular show of Central European cinema with special attention to the countries of the Visegrad Group. Since its first year, which took place in 2014, it brings the best and most interesting films from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic. The viewer has the opportunity to see the films, which are often difficult to get into regular cinema distribution. The experience of watching quality films is enhanced by the atmosphere of cinemas - 3Cinema takes place in the center of Prague.
Many famous artists come to the festival every year. In recent years, 3KinoFest has been visited by artists such as Krzysztof Zanussi, Janusz Majewski, Vaclav Marhoul, Sonia Bohosiewicz, Łukasz Grzegorzek, Olgierd Łukaszewicz, Adam Sikora, Beata Parkanová, Jenovéfa Boková, Hana Vagnerová, Adam Sedlák, Stanislav Zindulka, David Drnka Krzysztof Łukaszewicz, Pavel Koutský, Juraj Herz, Eryk Lubos, Artur Zaborski, Rafael Lewandowski or Hubert Gotkowski.
3KinoFest offers viewers dozens of films on a predetermined theme, retrospectives of world-famous filmmakers and a selection of the best of the partner festivals. The international expert jury awards prizes in two categories, for the best feature film and for the best debut ("Best Central European Film" and "Golden Debut").
The rich accompanying program includes a concert, interesting theater projects and thematically connected workshops. A novelty of this year's accompanying program will be an interactive theater performance for children, which will also take place so that parents can watch one of the films undisturbed at the same time.
The Industry program is designed primarily for filmmakers and film school students.
