Valašsko - Horní Vsacko is a region known primarily for its folk character and its inhabitants, who have always been known as Valaš. In the Czech Republic, the region of Wallachia - Horní Vsacka is associated precisely with the historical tradition of the Vlachs, i.e. the original inhabitants of the area, whose way of life was associated with sheep herding and a positive relationship to the values of the area's natural wealth.
