The association Lebenswelttirol-sprachwerkstatt is a non-profit organization. We support and care for people with communication difficulties and additional impairments throughout Tyrol.
Our goal is to support and accompany users on their way to successful communication. To do this, we use a wide variety of communication tools and aids from AAC (signs, tablets, pictograms, photos, ...) tailored to the individual needs of our clients.
Successful communication opens doors to self-determination, identity development and participation in social life.
The active use of UK means that users can exert more influence on their environment and thus experience a better quality of life.
Communication is a fundamental right on which we build.
We also offer guidance and induction for staff in institutions for people with disabilities (job offers, shared accommodation, integrative programmes, …) in AAC (UK). Courses in sign-supported communication, training courses or workshops in supported communication complete our offer.
