With "More than Reading", the Austrian Youth Red Cross offers an initiative to promote reading based on the latest developments in reading didactics. "More than reading", the student magazine of the Austrian Youth Red Cross, offers its own app with multimedia and interactive content - from the first to the eighth grade.
Especially today it is evident that schoolchildren often have easier access to mobile phones and tablets than to the computer at home. The app supports in class and with homework.
With the free app, "More than Reading" provides multimedia exercises, audio samples, interactive learning games, surveys, English songs, additional links and videos as well as worksheets for the magazines.
Simple and data protection compliant
The app is programmed in such a way that no data (neither name nor e-mail address) is collected from teachers and students, neither for the installation nor for the use of the app. The app works with an activation code valid for the respective issue, which is printed on page 2 of the magazine.
