The DLR MovingLab app is used in the context of socio-scientific transport research to collect individual mobility data using smartphones. With the help of the motion sensor technology of commercially available smartphones, the routes covered are recorded, the means of transport used are automatically recognized and specific questions are asked about the means of transport and mobility. The DLR MovingLab is currently a technical infrastructure that is still being revised. Feedback from users is urgently needed for this.
