weather is there already?
A helpful tool when it comes to the current water temperature, the regional weather and other information for the inland waters in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. We are constantly expanding the network of available measuring locations (see figure A).

Currently available: Born a. Darss, Bodden

Measuring stations are installed on site to record the respective water and air temperature as well as the wind data (strength and direction) or existing measuring devices are used. Combined with OpenWeather forecasts, it gives a pretty good picture of the current live weather situation.
And: compass, sunrise/sunset, moon phase (when is the next full moon?)
Also: Display (green swimmer) suitability for bathing. This is the positive result of a laboratory evaluation that is carried out regularly by the State Office for Environment and Health MV. A publication takes place via the bathing water map on the government portal.

# 30 min timer | Once activated (see picture point F), the live weather is constantly presented. Hoteliers, information points or tourist offices can show their guests the current bathing temperature. For example, they use a disused mobile phone that is connected via W-LAN and placed in the counter area.
#Favorite | Once activated, this location will be displayed again when the APP is restarted and does not have to be selected again.
#Compass | where is the north Note: From time to time the compass needs to be calibrated. Especially when nonsensical directions are displayed. To do this, you guide the handset quickly along a curve that describes an 8 lying down - about six to eight times.
