Glückstour - bike tour for the benefit of cancer and seriously ill children

The app
With over two million euros raised in donations for children with cancer, the Glücksour is one of the largest private aid campaigns in Germany. The association “Glückstour - Schornsteinfeger help cancer-sick children eV”, which organizes the campaign, has supported many initiatives, parent associations and clinics with donations in recent years, as well as research projects to help children with cancer and their families to save lives and promote health.
The heart of the charitable work is the annual bike tour, during which donation checks are distributed and the public is informed of the importance of the volunteer workers 'and volunteers' commitment throughout Germany for affected children and their parents. After cancer, cancer is the second most common cause of death among children in Germany. The chances of survival for the affected children depend on the type of cancer and timely treatment
Due to the current situation, it is not possible to do the bike tour in 2020. Therefore, together with our partners, we managed to create an app in which we present the happiness tour, the helpers, the donor recipients and our sponsors in self-made videos.
