The OeJC2go app of the Austrian Journalist Club (ÖJC) is written by journalists for journalists. OeJC2go currently reports on all areas of journalism, media policy and labor law as well as attacks on press freedom from home and abroad. It is updated several times a day.
In the "Videos" section you can see all productions from OeJC-TV2go. Journalist Internet TV channel reports on important issues of journalism. At regular intervals, the ÖJC, together with the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg, produces discussion events with MEPs. And you can look up events that you missed in the ÖJC.
Under "Events" you will find all events of the ÖJC. All seminars of the Journalism & Media Academy and press conferences in the Vienna International PressCenter are also listed here. Please note: You will only find press conferences here if the organizer requests it.
In the "[Statement]" section you will find the current issue of the Austrian journalist magazine [Statement]. This is published ten times a year with a circulation of 25,000 and is enclosed with the Viennese communications magazine "Medianet" on the last Tuesday. ÖJC members can also use this part of our app for free. All you need to do is enter your membership number and the ÖJC password. Non-members can also access this part of the app for a small fee.
The costs: One issue costs EUR 2.90, you pay EUR 12.90 for 5 issues and EUR 24.90 for one year.
The app works on Android smartphones and Android tablets from version 3.2., and on iPhone and iPad.
The display works from a screen resolution of approx. 800x480 pixels.
This app does not collect user data and no user data is shared with other companies or organizations.
