Galgje (Nederlands)

This Dutch version of Galgje was created by a Dutch-speaking developer, with full attention to the quality of the words included in the game. You will not encounter machine translations here and all words have been validated against the current OpenTaal source file. The app contains more than 100,000 words from three to twelve letters. The gallows is built in seven or ten steps.

The services we used for leaderboards and competitions are no longer available. We are working on a new solution for this.

Notes:
- The list is being further cleaned up. We consider some words less suitable for this game (e.g. some abbreviations and acronyms).
- Some acronyms that have become household names occur (e.g. Comecon).
- Loanwords are included (e.g. body paint).
- Flemish words are included (e.g. stofhout).
