The APLIMO Information System (APLIS) has evolved from the established VAREX Information Manager (VIM) to visualize the messages of a fire alarm control panel via the Internet at any location.
The APLISmobile app consists firstly of a cut to the needs of firefighters surface with detail view of the fire brigade display panel (FAT), and direct display of fire brigade routing cards and fire plans. It was also implemented a specific installer view, which allows the technicians to query the states of the system quickly and clearly. In addition, an event memory and a service module in APLISmobile are integrated.
APLIS basically consists of 2 components:
The APLIS data server is installed in the building and serves as a location for the sensitive data such as Fire brigade routing cards and fire plans. Through the connection to a fire alarm panel of APLIS data server receives an event occurs all relevant messages, evaluates them and brings them with associated fire graphics for display. With an optional Internet access selected information can be forwarded in a targeted and encrypted.
The APLIS Connection Server is a hosted in Germany Security Server, which builds an encrypted SSL VPN connections to APLIS data server. All associated servers are clearly listed and an authenticated remote access allows. All incoming events to eligible APLISmobile users are received via push notification. The permissions of each user can be administered individually in APLIS Connection Server.
