About Handbuch AGNNW

The pre-clinical emergency medicine is committed to a rapid and targeted patient care and must comply with a high level of safety even in critical situations. In addition to therapeutic measures tactical-organizational decisions are also to meet with close personal and technical conditions. In particular for the problem-oriented approach in the first few minutes must exist robust action plans.

The mapping of best practices in algorithms facilitate a binding vote in the treatment team. Therefore, in many places there are smaller and larger collections of local standards. In each region the developed guidelines are already unified with neighboring municipalities in order to facilitate the cross-company collaboration.

This was the starting point for the consideration to carry the nation's existing concepts together and to come to a synopsis of existing solutions, which in turn can be mirrored back to the regions now. This "manual emergency medicine" is therefore an overview of emergency medical findings and standardized flowcharts in NRW and to help ensure that the country of comparable quality and safety is achieved in patient care.

The first edition of this manual has been developed exclusively for the members of AGNNW and will put them through their membership free of charge. At a reprint under consideration of future emergency medical findings is carried out.

Primarily Our thanks go to the colleagues from North Rhine-Westphalia, who asked for the creation of this handbook their regional concepts exemplarily available and thus have given significant impetus to the overall concept.
