With this APP I can now do it myself (limited to toom hardware stores).
First you have to open the app, then a camera field opens, which can be used to scan the EAN. PIA then pulls the information from the toom portal and makes it available in a clear manner. The displayed prices then take into account promotions and VAT reductions.
