This app I created "with standardized brushstrokes painter-like rendering" as part of my bachelor thesis. It's in the app about that a photo is converted into an image that resembles a painting.
These several layers strokes are applied, the shape and the color of which is predetermined based on the photo.
These strokes are less from layer to layer, and at the end quadratic Bezier curves are plotted to show even small structures.
Android devices do not have the same amount of computing power or memory, such as modern personal computers, but the app provides a functionality that it allows users on the move in a short time to get such an image and save it.
The user interface is based on established Android standards, the use of the application on the Action bar is done, the user can select his preferred settings for this application and save and reference to a notification, the user can detect if the image processing is in progress.
The application runs on Android 4.x on smartphones and tablets. The operation in landscape mode is recommended but is not mandatory.
