Step 1: Get the 'Wiokey Authenticator Companion' from wiokey.de/install
Step 2: Pair the app with the extension by scanning the QR code on the extension using your WioKey mobile app
Step 3: Register the app as a "security key" with your web services (WioKey Tutorials @ https://www.wiokey.de/en/tutorial/)
Step 4: Enjoy a secure log-in experience. Your logins will automatically prompt your phone to request you for your biometrics as long as you have an internet connection.

Step 2: Register the app as a "security key" with your web services (WioKey Tutorials @ https://www.wiokey.de/en/tutorial/)
Step 3: Enjoy a secure log-in experience. Your logins will automatically prompt your phone to request you for your biometrics as long as your phone is paired with your PC.

This first release provides the same functionality and access possibilities a hardware security key does. WIOsense GmbH & Co. KG aims to authenticate you with all your devices and web services.
Currently, WioKey allows you to use your biometrics or phone password/PIN for 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) with all web services that have support for hardware security key 2FA logins. Additionally, WioKey supports FIDO2 passwordless logins with Microsoft accounts, Windows PC login and other FIDO2-compliant web services.
