When the encrypted file attachment is opened, it is transferred to the SX-MailCrypt email encryption appliance via a secure SSL connection and displayed there decrypted after entering the associated password. Thanks to this so-called two-factor authentication, the confidentiality of the e-mail message is guaranteed and protected against phishing attacks.
