iBreath collects short samples of breathing and coughing sounds which will help researchers and doctors in building breathing and coughing-based machine learning/ artificial intelligence model for early detection of respiratory conditions. It's a collaborative effort by the team of researchers from different parts of the globe to crowdsource breathing and coughing sound data from both healthy as well as individuals with pulmonary diseases.
iBreath will collect (30 sec) breathing and coughing sounds data only when you open the app and actively interact with it by pressing start and stop. iBreath is not a tracking or continuously data collecting app. Your participation is 100% anonymized and NO login or personal identifiable info (name, email, etc.) is required.
The data from iBreath will be used solely for research purposes and will be shared with other partnering researchers and doctors globally after the initial analysis.
