By giving you an overview of your car’s vital parts you don’t have to concentrate on the technical aspects of your car, but instead enjoy life on the road while knowing that if anything happens with your car, GoConnect will keep you updated and on top of the situation

The features and functionality of GoConnect requires a Volkswagen or Audi car with the official hardware installed. It is possible to book an installation of the hardware through the app or by contacting your local dealership.
GoConnect is backward compatible with Volkswagen and Audi cars from 2010 and forward.

Like others have said, this app is a token effort to demonstrate VW is competing with other manufacturers on all levels. This app does nothing for me as a customer. Dealer doesn't even respond to messages via the app. It drains my battery as well. ZERO STARS.

Absolutely useless. Tracking only the 12V battery in an EV and not the main battery? I'm glad this is free for 5 years but I can't fathom why anyone would pay for this with so little features.
