About Søassistancen

With the Søassistancen app, all leisure sailors can quickly and easily get the right assistance if they are in trouble on the water. Dansk Søredingsselskab (DSRS) provides free help around our 12 stations. Whether you are near a DSRS station or not, the app helps you call the right place.

Remember to call 1-1-2 in all life-threatening situations.

Getting assistance from DSRS is free.

ABOUT DSRS
Dansk Søredingsselskab is a voluntary organisation, provides assistance to all people who, in their spare time, have found themselves in a situation at sea that they cannot handle themselves.

DSRS also makes its boats and crew available to the state rescue service when they believe that DSRS can make a difference.

DSRS has rescue stations distributed over a large part of the inland Danish waters. At each station there are between 25 and 50 volunteers who are ready to help around the clock all year round.

DSRS is run by funds from voluntary memberships, donations from foundations and businesses. The memberships are the most important element in the operation of the Dansk Søredingsselskab. Without the memberships, the free assistance at sea would not exist.
