What is LetUsKnow?
Do you want to feel more secure when you're out and about? Then LetUsKnow might be the solution for you. We at LetUsKnow want to contribute to increasing security in Denmark. Our offer for a solution to this is an app that ensures that your selected contacts are kept up to date when you are out and about. When using LetUsKnow, you don't need to actively write to friends and/or family where you are or whether you have returned home safely - LetUsKnow does it for you automatically.
How does the app work?
The only thing you have to do to be able to benefit from all LetUsKnow's functions is to add one or more contacts to whom you want to continuously send notifications about your movements and to add one or more home addresses. After that, you just have to press "start", as you leave home, after which LetUsKnow will automatically send notifications to your active contacts when you are at a registered location. The point of LetUsKnow is not to create a surveillance system, which is why it is important to us that you as a user decide for yourself how much and how little you want to share with your contacts. You therefore choose whether you simply want to send a notification when you arrive at your home address, or whether you want to continuously send notifications throughout the day/evening when you check in at various registered locations. In other words - you have the power over what you share.
LetUsKnow is also equipped with a so-called "help button". This button acts as a direct lifeline to your selected contacts. When the help button is activated, a notification will immediately be sent to your contacts, who will then be able to follow your exact progress until the button is switched off again. This is just an option for those of you who find it necessary.
What is our purpose?
We at LetUsKnow aim to create security in Denmark - we at least want to contribute to increasing the feeling of this! We believe that we all have the right to security, and that the feeling of security should of course not come at a cost. Therefore, it is with pride that we can announce LetUsKnow – a 100% free app that automatically keeps your active contacts up to date. With LetUsKnow, in other words, you are never completely alone, as you always have a "friend" in your pocket.
