Compatibility:
The Danalock Classic App uses Bluetooth 4 and is compatible with Android Lollipop and higher.
However, practical experience shows that the best experience is gained on versions greater than the initial releases (5.0, 6.0, 7.0, ...) but it also depends on the phone manufacture and phone model. In other words, the recommended versions are 5.1, 6.0.1, 7.1 or higher.
Phones born with (not upgraded from BT 4.x+ to) a high end Bluetooth chip (BT 5) also give a good experience.
