About Fag med smag

Taste is important for human cognition and perception of the outside world. Taste makes us feel - it causes us to engage us. It causes us to remember; we remember often special experiences where specific taste and sensations prevailed. And everyone can taste and talk about taste - even taste the same time is an individual phenomenon.

The taste can thus "nothing" compared to our cognition and other psychological dynamics. Subjects with taste - and the related educational material - is a sod into the learning potentials that are likely to lie in this fundamental recognition. How can one write process in the Danish example. intensified and professionally strengthened by allowing specific flavors to be an integral part of didactics? How "tastes" a biology professional awareness about the nutritional content of breakfast cereals and their effects on the body's experience of energy? How does taste into child and adolescent gender narratives - and how "tastes" masculinity (of chili? - or is it just a social imagination constructed by the media)? These are just a few examples of issues addressed through didactic materials.

Taste of course explores other words, learning potentials by allowing the flavors included as a conscious aesthetic part of students' learning processes. And at the same time invites Taste for Life - project behind Subjects with taste - our users (ie teachers) to provide feedback to us directly in the app. We'd love to hear from you via the small assessment form, which is attached to each teaching activity.

Taste for Life is an inter-agency project between the University of Aarhus, University of Southern Denmark, Nordic Foodlab at KU, Nutrition and Health program and a number of university colleges around the country.
