The LittleBeats device helps researchers capture child behavior in their natural environments, through audio, heart-rate, and motion data collected by the device. This accompanying mobile application (LittleBeatsApp) for the LittleBeats device allows parents to start and stop recording, take daily surveys, and display device status, all from the convenience of their mobile phones. LittleBeatsApp cannot be used without the LittleBeats device and should be downloaded only by families participating in LittleBeats studies.
