About CieM

The present product is based on the need to contribute to the eradication of gender stereotypes and prejudices in Higher Education courses. For this, we developed an electronic educational game to work to minimize this problem. The game is aimed at students and can be used for playful and educational purposes. It was elaborated from observations in the classroom, in the laboratories and in recorded reports on research on professional education and the world of work.

It is worth noting that the game was developed in partnership and subsidies with the Innovation Project "It is playing that one learns to live in equality: construction of games" - (PIBITI / PROPEX / IFS / 2017). The development of the game was carried out concomitantly to the development of the Professional Master's research of the Post-Graduate Program in Professional and Technological Education of the Federal Institute of Sergipe - STUDY OF GENDER RELATIONS AND PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION: deconstructing stereotypes to promote equity.

For that, there were biographies of four women, three scientists - Hypathy of Alexandria, Mileva Einstein and Marie Curie - and an artist - Frida Kalho. And also the construction of the stories of the four women mentioned above in order to make the stories fit the mold of putting them in the game.
