Healthy Smile App is a musical companion to your child during brushing. Start healthy habits right from the infancy, toddlers’ period and pre-school years to give healthy and beautiful smile to your child.
This app provides with features to guide young parents to maintain oral health of children at home with simple measures. It has 2-minute brushing timer, how- to- brush videos, age specific dental health tips, reminders and pregnancy related oral health care tips. It is available in English and Hindi for understanding by wide spectrum of users. FAQ’s section solves many dental health related queries of parents for their children. It educates and motivates children to follow the home care methods advised by dental professionals.
Healthy smile prevents tooth decay in the early stages, brings confidence to the child, frees parents from frequent dental visits to dental clinics for childhood dental problems and gives information about correct brushing techniques in children. Children will start loving the brushing time.
This app has been developed by the Dept of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry at Centre for Dental Education & Research, All India institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. These are based on the evidence from current international guidelines and the experts’ opinion.
