The faith and love we feel for Our Christ of Medinaceli are stronger than any pandemic. For this reason, in this very peculiar year, we have used all our ingenuity to reinvent ourselves and find a safe way to continue accompanying him, adapting to the circumstances, but with the same enthusiasm as always.
At this time when many people cannot meet or be with our owner in the street, from the Brotherhood of Cofrades Nuestro Padre Jesús Rescatado Cristo de Medinaceli we have designed an application so that we can all make our own Penance Station, individually, respecting sanitary regulations.
Although alone, we will carry out the Penance Station together with our owner with the same devotion each year. This virtual tool aims to bring all the brothers and devotees closer together in the distance, and create a conducive environment for each of us to walk in privacy, where each one deems appropriate, making the same route every Holy Wednesday. This new application that we put at your disposal, will allow us to stop at the usual points of interest on our itinerary, listening to the arrows to our Christ and the marches of our beloved band.
We thank in advance the good will and predisposition of all those who wish to be with Our Father Jesus Rescued Cristo de Medinaceli in those moments. These are difficult times, but the wishes and desires of our brothers and devotees on these special dates remain intact.
