About Guía de Utrera

As a town, known for its historical relationship with the world of flamenco, bull breeding, considered the cradle of Toro Bravo, and for its rich cuisine, including among peoples that make up the Ruta del Arroz. Two of his most characteristic dishes are named after the flamenco festivals celebrated here: 'the Mostachón de Utrera' and 'Potage Gitano', the most prestigious and oldest in Spain. Utrera has an important architectural heritage, like the Castle, the Church of St. James, the Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation, the Church of St. Mary of the Bureau and its historic center, declared a Historic-Artistic Cultural. Easter Utrera and its festivities (Fair Consolation) are also declared of tourist interest.
