About entreREDes

Red Eléctrica de España has created entreREDes, a digital game so that 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year ESO students can review their curricular contents in an entertaining way and, at the same time, learn how the Spanish electricity system works. Players travel the country through different lines and substations of the electricity transmission network, as they answer questions from six different subjects. More than 11,000 questions divided into six categories: Geography and History; Physics and Chemistry/Biology: Mathematics; Language and literature; Electrical sector, and Leisure and Culture.

-An effective didactic support for the teacher in the classes.
-An attractive and fun review tool for students at home.
-A fun mode to share with family or friends.

If you want to download it, entreREDes is available at https://www.ree.es/es/publicaciones/educacion/entreREDes

The game includes three different modes that adapt to the needs of the teacher and students at all times.

Before starting the game, each player must choose the game mode and the character they want to play with and give them the name they like best.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Android: Android 5.0 / API level 21 / OpenGL 2.0 or later.

CONTENTS OF THE GAME QUESTIONS
The questions of the subjects of Physics and Chemistry/Biology; Geography and History; Language and Literature, and Mathematics respond to the official curriculum approved by the current educational law and have been selected and written by active ESO teachers. In addition, each one of them is divided into different blocks of content that reflect the school syllabus. Those of the electricity sector have been prepared by experts from Red Eléctrica and Ocio y Cultura, which aims to be a lighter option where topics of music, art, sports, cinema and current affairs are addressed. The Royal Spanish Academy (RAE) has reviewed all the texts of the game.

GAME MODES: The entreREDes game has three modes: classic, challenge and classroom.

Classic (2 to 6 players): Players compete to illuminate the six supports corresponding to the six subjects of the game on their card.

How can they get it? Going through the power lines and correctly answering the questions that are asked in the boxes. When the player has managed to illuminate his six supports, he will have to go to the central square, that is, to the Electric Control Center (Cecoel). There, you will have to get at least three of the six questions right. If successful, an infographic on how Cecoel works will be reproduced. To win the game, you'll need to get one last question right on this animation. Each question will have four possible answers. Only one of them will be correct. The player will have 40 seconds to answer each question. If he fails the answer, he will lose the turn. To play, you can choose one or several courses.

Challenge (1 player): The challenge is for the player to outperform himself and complete the game in less time and with the highest score.

The rules and the objective are the same as in the classic mode: the player has to manage to illuminate the six supports on his card with the colors corresponding to the six materials of the game. At the end, a table will be shown with the statistics of the game (number of correct questions, time, score, etc.).

Classroom (from 2 to 6 players): The relevance of this mode is that teachers and students can choose specific blocks from the syllabus of one or more subjects. Each block has a number of associated questions.

The objective of the competing players is to reach the final square of the chosen path as quickly as possible.
You can also select the times to answer each question and the number of boxes on the route. In this way, the game can be configured according to the time available in the classroom or at home.
