Although there have always been extremist people and groups that have defended uniformity and intolerance towards other people and social groups, in recent years, with the development of social networks a vehicle has been opened for the creation and dissemination of these discourses, expressions and intolerant and xenophobic ways of acting.
But, as we know, the vast majority of young people and adults make use of Social Networks in a healthy way and there are those who use these new communication tools to promote the dissemination of prosocial values.
From Somos Más we understand that communication is a development tool that encourages the construction of citizenship from their right to communicate, to be informed and to participate actively; so that the Internet and social networks can be used as an instrument of knowledge and critical reflection before a globalized and interdependent society.
This game called "Save the Universe" aims to take advantage of the fact that the youngest take the initiative and use social networks to, from their daily social communication space, favor tolerance, the culture of Peace and the commitment to promote Human rights and democracy.
This project is proposed and funded by Google with the support of several Ministries. It is executed by FeSP-UGT (Intercultural Classroom) and Youth and Development in consortium with Bosco Global.
