This mobile app has been designed and developed in the carrying out of AEOLIX project, co-funded under the European Union's Horizon 2020 Researh and Innovation Programme.
The project provides a platform for connecting logistics information systems with different characteristics for real-time exchange of information; the effectiveness of the platform is tested and validated in a number of living labs.
The guide.me app is a component of the Decision Support System (DSS) implemented by the Living Lab 4, located in Trieste, Italy, and it supports truck drivers on their way to destination.
Functionalities:
1) User access to the application via authentication
2) Selection of the driver truck
3) Handling tour phases
4) Displaying tour forecast data: Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA), that is the recommended average speed to arrive to destination on time
5) Showing tour current data: weather condition, traffic info, notification of permission to reach the destination
